Tonight I saw my first episode of "Paradise Hotel," a stroke of reality television genius that you can only watch on FOX, home of all my favorite shows since the early nineties. After reading the Salon review of "Paradise Hotel," at first I couldn't get over how funny the lady is who wrote the review, but after that initial amusement, I just really wanted to see the show. I didn't think people could be so tan and empty, have such voracious appetites for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, and compete for each other's attention even though every person on the the show is UGLY. Wow, was I wrong, and how I hunger for more. Especially following the new Fox high school drama, "The OC," "Paradise Hotel" really was the cherry on top of my Monday night sundae. YUM YUM.
