!! They're coming a little late to the table !!
and it seems a little dungeons-and-dragonsy to me, but the new ONLINE and MULTIPLAYER Final Fantasy XI is coming out in late Oct., according to an article at ign.com.
Maybe it will be fun, like old school or something. Final Fantasy II (US) had castles and wizards and things, but I kind of like how they've been getting away from that in the newer games (like all the ones for Playstation and PSII). Anyway, I wish it wasn't going to cost $50, because I'd like to try it out. If you've played the beta, post a comment.
