!! Harry Potter and the Magnificent PR Device !!
After breaking sales records in Britain yesterday, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince [purchase link], released worldwide on Saturday, has been met with unbridled enthusiasm, even though Canada almost ruined everything when a grocery store in Vancouver sold fourteen copies of the book in advance of the release date. Adoring fans are nonetheless devouring the new story, some even reading (or fake-reading) it in one day. As for a review, I personally have not read and don't plan to read any of the books because they are too long, but Whateva Sista! can fill you in.
I am, however, looking forward to seeing the new Harry Potter movie coming out this November. I hear someone dies in this one... Hopefully it will be a girl or someone not cute, because the actors will be edging up to age 18 by the next movie, meaning they can get naked. And Daniel Radcliffe (the actor who plays Harry) is turning into quite a little heartthrob, admired the world over. He doesn't seem to have an official website, but this informative fansite has everything you could possibly want to know about him, and even has phallic menu selectors!
