!! 'Chef' left South Park by proxy !!
The mystery deepens. Last week Isaac Hayes, Scientologist and voice of longtime character Chef on South Park, issued a harshly worded statement about why he had to leave the show due to their insensitivity towards his religion. It turns out that Hayes had a stroke in January and is in no shape to be writing such statements himself. So the question is, who is speaking for him?
After Tom Cruise allegedly prevented Comedy Central from airing the "Trapped In the Closet" episode of South Park in which Cruise is one of the many objects of ridicule, I wouldn't put anything past him. I'll bet he wrote that letter himself, all the while cackling maniacally. Okay, that could be fartfetched, but I wouldn't doubt that his people played a part.
