Activists in Boise, ID put "Heterosexuals Only" bumper stickers all over downtown and in the Statehouse on Monday to protest Idaho's ballot measure to constitutionally ban same-sex marriage. It will come to a vote in November, and the activists in Boise want to send a clear message to their state legislators that gays are exactly like black people and we want to appropriate icons from their struggle for our own use. Now if only Brokeback Mountain had been more like Crash. Wouldn't that have been poignant?

my parents were married for 3 years, my mother then remarried for another 4 years while my father stayed sinlge untill he re married for about 4 years as well. they are both now remarried AGAIN. wonder how long this will last? my sister & brother are both on their second marriages. i have been with the same man for 17 years now & those fuck head dumb cunts in boise don't want people such as ourselves to be able to marry. it just doesn't make any sence to me.

I think some people are misinterpreting the comments. I dont this its intending so say that all blacks are gay, but that gays are being treated with the same disrespect and inequality that blacks have faced throughout history- and as they have finally received the rights that they deserve, gays should also. people always fear the unknown so they come up with these hateful laws against people who are just like them except for sexual preference.
