!! Clay Aiken to appear on Larry King !!
Larry King, ever the asker of the most difficult questions (e.g., recently to animal man Jack Hanna, "The difference between an alligator and a crocodile?"), will have not-so-ambiguously gay singer Clay Aiken on as a guest tomorrow night to address the "rumors" about his sexuality.
Nothing feeds rumors like avoiding the subject, so we can only hope that Clay will be as straightforward with Larry as he was recently with People magazine regarding the "are you gay?" question:
What do you say (to that question)? … It's like when I was 8. I remember something would get broken in the house, and Mom and Dad would call me in and say, 'Did you do this?' Well, it didn't matter what I said. The only thing they would believe was yes. … People are going to believe what they want.
I suspect the conversation will go something like this:
Larry King: So Clay, many people are talking about whether or not you are gay.
Clay Aiken: Larry, people talk about a lot of things. Why just the other night on your show Jack Hanna was on here talking about giant rabbits. Those things were huge!
LK: They certainly were. Who knew rabbits could grow so big?
Janice Dickinson: I did. I've seen a lot of ample-sized rabbits in my day. And in case you don't watch my show, The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency, "rabbit" is code for "penis." Clay, get your mind out of the gutter.
