!! No more cloned cats for sale !!
No one loved their dead cat quite enough to shell out the $32,000 necesary to create a cloned replica from pet cell peddlers Genetic Savings and Clone. The company is closing up shop, and in doing so is dashing the dreams of all those people who just couldn't let go. For example, a woman from New Jersey said of her dog Lucky, "his smartness made you feel like he was almost human."
Since the GS&C folks never quite got dogs right, they were storing Lucky's cells until a time when they could be cloned. Unfortunately, now they aren't storing anything so cellular Lucky will have to find a new home.
