If the retarded callers to the "Curb Your Intelligence" radio show are any indication, then Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois should maybe expect name-recognition problems in his race for the presidency in 2008. In fact he may have to convince the American people that he was not single-handedly responsible for the events on 9/11/2001.

Read the feature on him in last month's Harper's and you probably won't be so enthralled. He is totally under the influence of lobbyists and opnely admits his campaign financiers set his agenda in Washington. And I can attest to the fact that Bahasa Indonesia isn't a super hard language to learn so really, we shouldn't be THAT impressed. Let's see him learn Thai or Japanese!
