Always one to capitalize on her own weight loss, Ricki Lake (who apparently is gracing the cover of Us Weekly this month) has done it again, and there she is on the red carpet! Maybe they'll give her a talk show again! I once sat in the studio audience for the taping of her episode on "teen deadbeat dads" and it helped me to put my life back on track.

The US cover is so misleading... They made it seem like she had lost another massive amount of weight (half of her!) -- turned out she just lost like the last 25 pounds. Not that is not an accomplishment or anything; but for an obese nation, IMHO that's nothing.
