In this short documentary, blogger Max Blumenthal visits a college Republican convention and interviews the attendees about the war in Iraq, why they can't serve in the military, etc., but the real highlights for me were:
1. Guest speaker/disgraced Speaker of the House Tom DeLay explains how we are all affected by abortion (3:55 in the video):
You think abortion doesn't affect you? I contend it affects you in immigration. If we had those 40 million children who were killed over the last thirty years, we wouldn't need the illegal immigrants to fill the jobs that they are doing here today. Think about it.
YEAH, THINK ABOUT IT!
2. But the best of all is at 3:10, where this high school kid makes an eloquent speech about how even though "everyone" has a "gay inclination" from time to time, he overcame his gay "curiosity" by praying, and how he is happy to report to the world that he is in fact NOT GAY. It is pure gold.
