!! Sinead gives us ‘Sweet Dreams’ !!

This is a collaboration we might never see again: Sinéad O’Connor, Kylie Minogue, and Natalie Imbruglia singing “Sweet Dreams” while wearing ridiculous wigs. The setting was a 1998 tribute concert for musician Dave Stewart (of Eurythmics fame). Sinéad definitely steals the show. (via Sticky, link NSFW)

  1. Yikes, thanks for all the corrections! I’ll do my research better next time I promise! Dave should be proud to have so many devoted and knowledgeable fans. xo F

    most. amazing. ever.

  3. Well, although I love Sinéad, she’s sure no Annie Lennox. I really must voice a note of something-or-other over the statement: “Dave Stewart (he worked with the Eurythmics) sometime in the 80s.”
Dave Stewart didn’t work with the Eurythmics, he was the Eurythmics. It’s akin to saying “this is Sonny Bono, he used to work with Sonny & Cher.” And he’s a guitarist/songwriter more than a producer.

  4. Worked with Eurythmics??? He was HALF of the band along with annie lennox. You are showing your age boy!

Dave Stewart was half of the Eurythmics, and I very much doubt these girls were known for singing in the 80s!

  6. Hooray! When I first saw this (it’s from a tv show called TFI Friday broadcast in October 1998 – check me out) I didn’t have my glasses on. Now I can see it.

  7. Hello,
Dave Stewart didn’t necessarily “work with” the Eurythmics; he was ONE of the Eurythmics (Annie Lennox was the other member).

  8. You’ve got a great site here, and I hate being critical but…
Dave Stewart didn’t work WITH the Eurythmics, he WAS the Eurythmics, along with Annie Lennox, of course!

  9. Wow Thanks for that, God I’m such a child of the 80’s. The wigs by the way are a homage to the many loooks Annie Lenox used to where back in the day. Brilliant, absolutley Brillant.
