!! Stelle McCartney hosts virtual fur protest !!
She's never used fur or leather for her fashion line, but I never realized how serious Stella McCartney is about animal activism until I heard about her Second Life virtual fur protest in partnership with PETA.
From CTV:
Visitors to SecondLife.com will be able to clothe their digital proxies, called avatars, in T-shirts bearing the slogan: "I'd Rather Be Pixelated Than Wear Fur.''
But the best part is if you can come up with a new slogan for the protest t-shirt, you and a friend could be going to see Stella's Spring 2008 runway show in Paris this fall! If you're a Second Life player, just follow this link to get your picketing on.
