!! OMG, he's naked: Jesus Christ !!
While doing a routine stock check at a small Italian monastery in a village west of Rome, scholars stumbled upon a naked statue of Jesus carved by the legendary Michelangelo Buonarroti. Jesus is looking a little more muscular than usual, which could be the reason this story was picked up by DNA Magazine's blog.
Images of the statue will be screened on ABC News tomorrow night.

I wonder if this is going to stir up as much controversy as Cosimo Cavallos "Chocolate Jesus," which was also naked.

I wish the picture was a bit larger and clearer. Maybe a closeup of the genitals. Mainly to see if the penis is cut or uncut. Jesus being a Jew would have been cut which is something Michalangelo overlooked when he made the statue of David. David also was a Jew but the statue unlike David wasn't cut.
