I am not dilusional...I know the performance bombed.
However there is no single artist ever that hasnt had at leats one bad performance.

her new music rocks and she will do great.

I was never the one that just went ga-ga over Britney like most gay boys... Some songs were cool, some not. But c'mon, what's with all the venom? Is the photo above really that horrible? Most girls look a LOT worse on the beach in their bikinis. That's an at least somewhat athletic body still. And if the rumor about MTV forcing her to perform a different song was true, that'd be even more of a reason not to dump on her.

On a side note, I like Sarah Silverman a lot less now. Lisa Lampanelli is classy compared to her.

Wow, why was it such a surprise that her big "Come Back" failed miserably since she never had any "real" talent to begin with (ask yourself why she lipsyncs at her own concerts if she's such a great "Singer"). Though I guess she could bust a move on the dance floor better than the average white trash floozy. I'll give her that.

I have been a die hard Britney fan from day one. Yes, I was disapointed in the performance but she is still throwing music out there that will make people bump. She has done so and will continue to do so. Just imagine how hard it has been since she got married. America's anger has been focused on one woman. No president, no terrorist, no child molester. Britney. For the past 5 years. From the beginning and to this day constant scrutiny. Try going to the supermarket with 30 people crowding you with quiestions and cameras. I love her and will always have my highest hopes that she will be rid of all the negativity that surrounds her and become the icon she has established herself as and much much more.

I was SO rooting for her to be good at the VMAs and start making a comeback... if for no other reason than we gay like an underdog. However.... TRAINWRECK! It was like an accident or catching your parents having sex... you know you shouldn't be watching but...
