!! FEMA makes up its own news !!
Eager to show they were responding better to the California wildfires than they did to Hurricane Katrina, FEMA officials decided to hold their press conference before any actual press showed up to ask them questions. Instead of postponing the press conference, FEMA staffers posed as reporters and lobbed one softball after another at Deputy Administrator Harvey Johnson (video is above).
And now everyone knows about it. Dummies. One staffer has resigned so far. (via Towleroad)
