!! OMG, I missed the point: Epcot Center !!

When Epcot Center opened in 1982, it was supposed to be a celebration of human achievement.
It was a utopian vision of the future, and I just thought it was a ramshackle collection of chateaus, pagodas, and igloos with such international delights as tacos, pizza, and chow mein, all meant to educate us about cultures different from ours. Maybe I should go back.

  1. YAWWWWWWWNNNNN….. I didn’t think I could possibly be LESS interested in going to the epcot center before seeing this snoozer….thanks!!!!!

  2. At one point it used to be about the Future, but now it’s just about the money. Come visit EPCOT during the Food & Wine festival where you can pay $6 for a 1 oz glass of wine and $8 for a chicken wing from France.

  3. You know it’s an acronym? It stands for something like Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow

  4. If you want to visit Epcot, my boyfriend and I will get you in the parks and give you a tour.
