!! OMG, he's naked: Zachary Stains !!

I've seen a few operas where the guy playing the "heroic" tenor role is less than heroic looking, and maybe opera should be all about the singing voice, but opera singer Zachary Stains brings a few more points of interest: His dashing goods looks, his chiseled body, and most importantly his total nudity in a performance of Ercole Sul Termodonte by Vivaldi. See caps and video after the jump [NSFW]!

Amazing how great music & superb voices, interaction between mass movements/single attitudes, not- at-all, or more or less clad hot beautiful bodies - male & female, essential but appropriate scenes, all together conspire to a sense of full artistic glory! A really living and acting allegory, with our warmest thanks to all of you !

This was a production for the 2006 Spoleto Festival in Spoleto, Italy. The DVD is available for purchase at Amazon.com (and probably other sellers). I bought a copy and was quite impressed as I never knew Vivaldi wrote any operas (though this is mostly a reconstruction as several pieces have been lost). As someone else said, all of the guys are pretty damn hot and though Zack is the only one who shows off the "full Monty," they all wear those little tunics that barely cover their packages and bottoms. Not to spoil things, but near the end, when Hercules is welcomed back into "society" and is dressed, his tunic still doesn't cover his genitals. The head of his dick still peeks out underneath, which is unintentionally amusing. And yes, for the foot fetishists out there, they are barefoot throughout the production.

I always wonder the same thing... those fckn avi files, I can NEVER play them... I wonder why is it that so many people choose them if there are other much more friendlier formats. It's like just to bother people.... download this codec, download that codec, figure it out if you can. FUCK avi files.

I will agree that, though very very hott and erotic, on-stage nudity done like this is also more than tasteful enough to hold the stage. The character portrayed IS Hercules, after all, and thus a heroic and artistic presentation of the nude male body is entirely appropriate. Bravo to Zachary for all his hard work, both in the studio and the gym.
