Meet adorable little Tetley, named because he is the same size as a teacup! He is one of the new breed of miniature pigs created at Pennywell Farm in the U.K.
They live for eight years and make fantastic pets, though don't expect to get your loved one a mini-pig in time for Christmas. There is a long waiting list.

You may think they are cute, but they only live 5years!! You want to know why? Because they have been breed to be small but their organs and insides are the same size as a regular "mini" pig, they end up dying because their organs grow to big for their bodies. How awful. Seriously what has our society come to. Disposable pets.
If you don't believe me, check it out for yourself, look up pet pigs and you will read all about these "teacup" piglets. It's cruel and inhumane, don't buy one.

I want to see a picture of one grown. A lot of animals are precious babies but when they grow up???? How large do they get? If anyone has a pic let me know.

Ray, you're totally wrong. Pigs are sweet, almost like dogs -- just don't get between a sow and it's baby and you'll do alright.

These pics are of the newborn litter... not the full grown miniature breed. Although they grow to be smaller than your average pig, they are pictured here at their smallest and appear to be on the "slow side" because of their age. These sweet little piglets will grow larger and smarter in no time. Positively adorable pics.
