The Guardian has put up THIS SLIDESHOW of images comparing satellite images from the 70s to images taken since the turn of the century. The images show the changes in environment and the human impact on the land.

just to let you know, that is what naturally happens to the coastline after years of erosion. constant movement of water pushes sediment and rock to form a indent. So its not that big a deal. The only impact that humans have made in this picture are the buildings. so...yea.
