Madonna recently said the following to New York magazine in reference to the way people treat Scientologist Tom Cruise:

"I don't care if people worship turtles or frogs! All I care about is whether they are good people - and Tom is a good person. He gets a raw deal, just like the orphans in Malawi get a raw deal. I think a lot of marginalised people get a raw deal."

You heard it from her lips. Tom Cruise is as hard-done-by as a Malawian orphan. I'm sure Xenu will reward him well when he eventually boards the great starship in the sky. (Thanks to Alon F. for the tip!)

I do not think you can compare Tom Cruise with the kids from Malawi. There is nothing that binds the two. Nothing is common to either party. I think it is ahumongous insult to the kids from Malawi to be in the same sentence as Tom Cruise.
