!! OMG, how cute: Slow Loris !!

My new favorite animal, and I say that with all sincerity, is the slow loris. These grabby little babies have huge eyes, they move, true to their name, very slowly, and they will climb on anything.

After the jump, see some cute variations on the slow loris, including slow loris in clothes, feeding slow loris, and chubby slow loris.

  1. Hey i was just wondering if you knew wear i can get one of these loris if so let me know thanks

  2. They are also ripped from their mothers at too young an age & due to the sensitivity & frailty of their hands they often suffer irreversible nerve damage. Also because they are taken so young they never learn to clean themselves properly which can lead to further complications. They are so cute I want one, but not if it means that they suffer: Source: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/6731631.stm

  3. Poor little guy — looks like he’s completely overwhelmed by all the touching and holding by those two greasy European boys.
And I did a little research, this is what I found from Kansas City Zoo web site: “Slow loris are sometimes sold as pets. Although they look cuddly, pet owners soon discover that they do not make good pets – they are wild animals and cannot be tamed. They are capable of dangerous bites and scratches.” Apparently their saliva is also somewhat toxic. Sorry Frank!
