!! OMG, how steamy: Martika's Kitchen !!

I know someone out there must remember this music video. I had never seen it, yet it still makes me feel nostalgic and a little dirty. Fun fact: Martika had a short stint on Kids Incorporated. (via Feyfriends)

I was shocked to know anyone still remembered her let alone that video. I was a HUGE closeted Martika fan when I was a kid. I also still have both albums...and still like them. Oh, the guilty pleasures of life!

Don't forget the "Toy Soliders" video, as it was her biggest hit.. ;) And yes, I have both of the CD's ...

I can't be sure, but I think that Rahsaan Patterson (who played Kid in "Kids Incorporated") sang back-up for this song and is visible at :38 in the video.

God, I have this CD!! Here's another fun fact! Martika's mother was the manager for another Kids Inc alum, Stacy "Fergie" Ferguson as well as fellow Kids Inker Rene Sandstrom when they were in the group Wild Orchid (with Stefanie Ridel) for their first 2 CDs. They later changed management prior to the release of their 3rd unreleased CD, 'Fire'.

i remember it. it was written by prince (most of that album was), hence the clever turn of lyric by having "kitchen" substitute for "vagina"
