Stephin Merritt, the man behind the Magnetic Fields, Future Bible Heroes, and The Sixths, took part in NPR's All Song's Considered "Project Song," where he went into the studio, picked a word and a piece of art to use as inspiration, and wrote and produced a song in two days.
Watch the video and get a detailed look into his participation in the project, and his creation of the simple song "Man of a Million Faces" from start to finish. (Thanks to Annie L. for the tip!)
