The Masked Avengers of Montreal's CKOI 96.9 FM radio station called up Sarah Palin the other day. One of them impersonated French President Nicholas Sarkozy and engaged Gov. Palin in a conversation so absurd that any normal person would have hung up the phone. (via Salon and Hot or Not)
I absolutely HATE that I felt some shred of compassion for her toward the end of the phone call when she realized she'd been had... considering I know she has no compassion for me when it comes to my rights, or all the women in my life when it comes to theirs. But I suppose I can always take the higher road and extend good will to EVERYONE, despite their inability to do so for me.
