Tama the Stationmaster Cat lives in the train station at Kishikawa, Japan, a small town at the end of a train line that was in danger of going bankrupt. Now thanks to Tama's clever owners who branded her as a fabulous tourist attraction, people from all over Japan make pilgrimages to see her, reviving the failing train line, and pumping $10 million into the local economy.
