...at least, she'll be playing one in the talkies. Nicole Kidman has been cast as the world's first post-op M2F tranny, Denmark's Einar Wegener. Einar's story begins in the early 20th century and continues to the 1930s, when Einar underwent surgery to become a woman. Charlize Theron is set to play Einar's wife, Greta.

Einar Wagner later died during an operation to transplant a uterus into her body.

Who wants an Oscar?!?!

Maybe I'm influenced by Theron's previous work as a lesbian; but when I read this item I kept thinking it would have been more appropriate for Theron to play the M2F and Kidman to play the wife...
