!! OMG, finally: GPS on TTC !!
If you live in Toronto you know that one of the worst things about the city is watching 5 streetcars go the opposite direction while waiting half an hour for an overcrowded car to come your way. That's probably not going to change, but at least soon (hopefully) you'll know how far away your ride is and whether you should wait or take another route.
If you can't wait for all the stations to be outfitted with the technology or you want to check the locations of the streetcars from your house before leaving check out RED ROCKET - an app for the iPhone that uses the GPS that's already in the streetcars and buses.
