As if the grumpy reporter getting molested on the streets of New Orleans weren't funny enough, CNN had to ask Kathy Griffin to co-host the night with Anderson Cooper. Watch them giggle like schoolgirls, discuss the Real Housewives reality show franchise (again), and be bitchy about Star Jones. Oh yeah, and Anderson calls Kathy "honey" (just like he did to Ellen). I'm sensing some patterns that may culminate in the first coming out of a major television news anchor in 2009, this magical year of CHANGE. (via Dlisted)
I didn't watch the coverage but that last comment from Kathy Griffin, "I don't go to your job and knock the dicks out of your mouth", was pretty freakin' funny!
Did that actually air on CNN??? Hilarious!
At one point talking about the weather (below zero with the wind chill) Kathy said it was so cold she needed to spoon and bushed herself backwards into Anderson's. He gently pushed her away and said "that's about as much as you're gonna get from me" which pretty much sounded like an admission he was gay to the folks at my house.
It was fun to Watch Anderson blush on national TV when Kathy started talking about pap smears.
