!! OMG, how daydreamy: new CFCF single! !!
With its propulsive Balearic disco beat and expansive synths, "You Hear Colours" by Montreal-based CFCF had us lapsing into a melancholic midday "Smalltown Boy"-inspired daydream. It helps that director Tommy Boy's video for the song features clips from another introspective coming-of-age drama: the 1962 British boys school flick, The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner.
