!! OMG, I'm over it: Gossip Girl !!

It's official. I don't care about Gossip Girl anymore. Season 2 has been a downward slide. I was already half over it before the hiatus and last night's episode was so bland and awkward that I most likely won't make an effort to watch anymore.
If you haven't watched it, there may be spoilers ahead.
I think the main problems were the crazy amounts of new/superfluous characters (Elle, Julian, Carter), the softening of Blair, and the contrived Age of Innocence plot (the episode was called Age of Dissonance). Also, that Vanessa thing is horrible.
They should just dump everyone and give Dorota-bot her own spin-off.

OMG, I couldn't agree with you more, Trent. I was so incredibly bored. There's been nothing compelling about the show lately. They'd better shake things up soon, or I'm going to have a free hour on Monday nights.

I also felt that GG had gone someplace that I couldn't be bothered anymore. It's just boring as hell. I watched a little bit and couldn't carry on to finish it.

I am afraid I disagree with you on most of your comments (although I do agree with you about Vanessa - get her off the show already).
The softer side of Blair won't be around for long, she can't help herself.
I think you will be watching the next one, even if you won't admit it.
