The man who decapitated a fellow passenger on a Greyhound bus in Manitoba was found to be not criminally responsible for his actions:
Both Crown and defence psychiatrists had testified at Mr. Li's trial that he was suffering from schizophrenia and believed God wanted him to kill Mr. McLean because the young man was a force of evil.
Mr. Li, 40, was charged with second-degree murder but pleaded not guilty. His DNA will be put on file but he won't have a criminal record.
The victim's mother, pictured above, is obviously pretty upset about the outcome of the trial. I'm actually a little terrified after reading the WHOLE ARTICLE.
