!! OMG, how Canadian: Ketchup Cake? !!

Heinz has come up with a ketchup-based cake to commemorate their centennial in Canada and thank Canadian customers. Is this their way of thanking us? By punishing us with a disgusting slice of gross? Actually, it doesn’t sound so bad. There’s cinnamon and vanilla in there and I do like carrot cake.

  1. *is jealous of anyone who can get those chips*
    I love those potato chips.
Maybe i’ll make it this weekend.

  2. i don’t think this cake tastes as bad as it sounds. i mean, i doubt this cake has more than a quarter cup of ketchup. plus the vinegar in the ketchup does wonders to make the cake moist.

I made the cake! And…it’s totally yummy. And I have seen ketchup chips where I live, all the way out in IOWA. Yep, big gay ketchup lovin’ Iowa, so suck on that.
