!! OMG plagiarist: Maureen Dowd !!

In her column yesterday, New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd lifted a 42-word passage from an article by Talking Point Memo's Josh Marshall published last Thursday.
The paragraph was copied word-for-word, yet, admitting her mistake, Maureen's excuse is that a friend told her about the passage over the phone without citing the source. Not so plausible, Maureen. You should really blame it on an intern. Now will we see how seriously plagiarism is taken at The New York Times? And people are always blaming bloggers for stealing from mainstream media...
