!! OMG, how catchy: Ex-Gay Music Video !!

The song “Luca Era Gay” (Luca Once Was Gay) apparently reached #3 in Italy. The song is about an ex-gay named Luca and the story of how he became gay and then an ex-gay. I wonder if there will be a follow-up called “Craigslist Rome – M4M – Married Man ISO Discreet Twink for Hot DL Session While Wife Is Shopping for Baby Clothes – Can’t Host.”
Scooped from Matt.

  1. My name is Luca. I live on the second floor. I’m a raving homosexual. Yes, I think you’ve seen me before.

  2. OMG I feel so ashamed about that. I am Italian and I know very well all the story behind that song.
Povia, the singer, is well know in here for a few hits, he won San Remo Festival a cuple of time. But since nobody cares about him when it’s not the San Remo time, he always have to say something “strong” to make people talk about him. This year he made it again singing about the “ex-gay” Luca.
This song didn’t won the San Remo Festival (for the ones who don’t know, this Festival is the biggest music festival in Italy) but it’s been the most discussed, and reached the 3rd position on the festival (not in chart, nobody buys his shit).
The singer has started a huge discussion across the country with the song, everyone was talking about with PRO and AGAINST teams. The Church was obviously PRO, and Conservative persons too, in the other hand many many people was pissed off about the song, and not just the gay community.
After the Festival the song has had no airplay and tv play, so as you can see nobody cares about him and about what he says.
In this moment Berlusconi and Church are actually making the GLBT community mad because nothing it’s being done against the omophobic wave that is crossing the country with gays being molested and even beated by right politically oriented persons.
LGBT community is tring to fight that wave slightly helped by the Left part of the politicians, but seems like there not will be any laws made to help gay people until our dear Berlusconi will be the Prime Minister.
Not all the country is omophobic, obviously. But at the moment, the gay situation is a disaster.
But don’t mind about Povia, he’s just a talentless and ignorant person who once was gay, and helped by the church became straight, actually like Luca. LOL

  3. I love the “I read Freud” part. Let’s get this straight (no pun intended): Though considered the father of modern psychology, Sugmund Freud was WRONG about almost EVERYTHING. He’s a historical figure, not an authority on mental health…

  4. It’s always the mom’s fault.

  5. Shit, I wish I was Luca’s next-door neighbor. Why? Duh, it would only be a matter of time when he realizes he knows he wants an outy, not an inny!

  6. Typical homo. Blame your mother.

  7. I’m thinking he’s probably bi, and just doesn’t have sex with men anymore. What a fucking douche bag. Figures he’s from Catholic Italy. Normalcy doesn’t come from that country.

  8. The song should be titled “How to Make a Buck Off Being Bisexual”.

  9. I bet lucas is still gay! What a load of $@:%!!

  10. Italy is a disgrace to the gay community. This is only one example in the long line of many.
