!! OMG, He's Important: Chaz Bono !!

Every year, the OUT 100 comes out, and every year I'm furious that I'm not on it! DON'T THESE PEOPLE KNOW WHO I AM?
Well, this year the list of the top 100 most important gays in the world as according to Out Magazine is inexplicably high school-themed, and my humiliation continues. I've been passed over yet again-- this time in favor of Cher's son, Chaz Bono! You might remember Chaz from such groundbreaking programs as Celebrity Fit Club, in which he tried to lose weight while competing for cash prizes back when he was still known as Cher's daughter Chastity. (This summer, as I'm sure you know, Chaz announced that he'd begun the process of FTM gender reassignment.)
Chaz has been dubbed by the Out editors as "Most Likely To Reinvent," which sort of makes no sense cause hasn't he already reinvented? It's not much of a prediction! But no matter. Out Editor Aaron Hicklin says of the photo shoot:
Given that Chaz is transitioning, we felt shooting him in a boys bathroom was a powerful representation of his real identity, albeit with a touch of humor.
Chaz Bono, we salute you: for your identity as a transperson, your achievements as a contestant on Celebrity Fit Club, and, of course, your important work as Cher's son.
