!! OMG, they see your goods: New airport X-rays !!
The great thing about the new X-ray technology being tested at Manchester airport is that you get to keep everything in your pockets and don't have to be patted down by a security official.
The questionable thing is that someone somewhere looking at the display will see your wiener. Seems like a fair trade-off to me!
"What's the only difference between going to jail or going by plane?
You won't get a finger shoved up your ass"
Have you seen her excited eyes? That brainless tie-sucker forgot to mention that besides „experienced insecurity“ there might be something like „dignity“. As if everyone wishes that other people could see them naked.
We‘ll do everything for "security" Mr. Bus* ehh..I mean Sarah, right?

What's with all the questions without looking up the answers for yourselves?
'Ms Barrett said the radiation levels were "super safe".
She said: "Passengers can go through this machine 5,000 times a year each without worrying. The amount of radiation transmitted is tiny." '
Taken from the Times Newspaper. The images are destroyed instantly and will only be viewed by someone in a room at a different location. Also children aren't required to go through the scanners:
'A spokesman for Manchester Airport said it was a "grey area" but until the law was clarified those aged under 18 would face only conventional security checks.'
First off this has a lot more to do with finding contraband than passenger safety. Yes it is low level radiation, but it is unnecessary exposure because it is a non-medical application.
Also I think this will lead to more problems than it solves. How long before the cell phone shots leak? What about scanning the underage--children and teens. Radiation exposure and exploitation are bigger concerns for them. Will pregnant women be required to be scanned. What of abuses of power where specific individuals are targeted for cruel or lascivious reasons? What about people who have had medical procedures or trans individuals that may get undue scrutiny due to this enhanced screening?
Hello...every little bit of radiation exposure counts. What if you travel alot? What if you work in a hospital where you are regularly exposed to SOME (not a lot) radiation? Anything to save a bunch of losers in a f*cking hurry a couple of minutes. Safety be damned.
