all of my friends hated that video. The song makes no sense and the video makes less sense. there's no story, no throughline. just a bunch of costumes and bright shiny objects.
I had an argument with someone today about the song. They claimed it was great. I said, 'No it's not great it's catchy and just because something is catchy doesn't mean it's good. AIDS is catchy. do you want AIDS?'
and changed the industry with her costumes? really? Cuz all I see are Roisin Murphy and Grace Jones rip offs. If you were born after 1990 do your research. If you weren't you need to get it together.
No, he/she is right. The general feeling about the video is that is was subpar. Lots of expensive shit and being long doesn't make something good. The video was a mess: incoherent and rambling. There was nothing sharp or tight about it like Bad Romance/Paparazzi. Get off the internet and talk to real people, not fanboys (unless you are 12, in which case you and your friends have no judgment and don't count).
ummm, so I thought this video was funny, but I have not come across one person that said they didn't like the actual video. Yes it was bizarre at times but it's GaGa... hello!?! why would we expect anything less then that? she is the start of the new music industry. she can actually write songs and sing and play instruments. hell shes even changed fashion in the industry. bc i know beyonce and rihanna and all the other lead women today were not getting these haute couture ideas of dressing up before GaGa arrived...so i applaud her videos hahaha
yall are crazy the lady gaga video is not a flop, they just cant play it unedited on tv, everyone i know likes the video.. i think this is exactly what is missing in videos now, the whole "mini movie feel"
