!! OMG, How Peppy: The Japanese Senior Cheerleading Squad !!
Here come the Japanese with yet another great and wacky idea: old ladies cheerleading! Led by 78-year-old founder Fumie Takino, the gals of the "Japan Pom Pom" squad aren't exactly the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders: their average age is 66 and they wear metallic silver wigs. Yet despite their advanced age, the Japan Pom Pom ladies still manage to dance "to a pulsating musical beat, jumping and kicking their legs." We salute them!
