I'll have you know that I'm sitting here stuffing my face with chocolate cake and being consoled by my yappy dog Elektra over the tragic news that everyone's favorite yarn-haired fat-ass funny-page heroine is finally hanging up her ill-fitting skirtsuit and working-woman Reeboks... FOR THE LAST TIME.
That's right, Cathy-- whose perpetually sweat-beaded face has graced the desk of dental receptionists everywhere for the last 34(!!!) years-- will exit the funny papers on October 3rd with the retirement of her eponymous creator Cathy Guisewite.
Well, we'll always have Marmaduke. :(
