!! OMG, inside: How rich Canadians dress !!

Like Bluefly’s Closet Confessions, The Coveted takes us inside notable wardrobes of fashion’s elite — only these are actual insiders and not just shiny, well-dressed personalities. Diving into the wardrobes of editors and creative directors, The Coveted‘s photo portfolios emphasize each closet’s small details, from vintage watches to worn-in shoes to kitschy lapel pins.
Holt Renfrew Creative Director John Gerhardt‘s closet consists of mostly grey, blue and brown items, a palette that’s helped him become one of Canada’s luxury kingpins. Also profiled on the site is ELLE.com Editorial Director — and super hottie — Keith Pollock, who dresses with a touch more whimsy (see: his collection of kooky buttons and pins).

  1. I am scoffing at this article. Canada is second rate when it comes to fashion trend. I don’t give a shit about this materialistic article and everyone is just imitating everyone now with being “original”. I got tired of this “satorialist-like” blogging about clothes. I hate to say this, everyone has been starting to dress like they are waiting to be photographed. Who cares.

  2. Materialism is a dying art – and I’m so glad for it. What does it matter what everyone else is able to buy? I feel we should be more attuned to what it takes to support ourselves – grow your own food. Make your own clothes.
