!! OMG, out: James Franco? !!
When a preview of Johnny Weir's book, Welcome To My World, in People revealed that he's gay "in a sexual way," the earth shook, mountains tumbled and queens everywhere gasped one giant gasp. Hardly revelatory.
But James Franco's recent cover-story interview with Entertainment Weekly is a different matter. The magazine asked him about the intentions behind his gay-themed body of work, to which he gave a surprising answer:
"Part of what I'm interested in is how these people who were living anti-normative lifestyles contended with opposition. Or, you know what, maybe I'm just gay."
Joke? Probably, but I'm not giving up hope yet!
