!! OMG, RIP Jack Layton !!

Progressive hero and leader of Canada's New Democratic Party Jack Layton passed away this morning after losing his fight with cancer.

Two days before his death, he wrote an inspiring letter that is addressed to Canadians, but I think bears an important message for everyone.

Please read it here, and remember Jack and all the good work that he did.

As a spoiled, obnoxious American, I only knew a little of Jack Layton's work. But I know I admired what I knew of him. May he rest in peace, and thank you for remembering him on this site.
