No, he's not abandoning his Puerto Rican roots, but Ricky Martin was granted Spanish citizenship today, El Pais reports. The gay pop star requested a special "letter of naturalization" in order to marry his boyfriend (and Spaniard) Carlos Gonzalez Abella under Spanish law. Felicitaciones!
