Is that really a diss? To say you want your music video one way and not the other? If I say I want my video to be more Bjork than Beyonce, does that automatically mean I hate Beyonce? If I prefer Vanilla ice cream over Chocolate, it doesn't mean I HATE chocolate?

It's like any kind of drama you can possibly stir up and you blast it out there without any responsibility. Pathetic, unless there's more to it? Did she give Whitney Houston her last bump?

Um, Katy Perry is as basic as they come, but what she's saying is fact. I mean, Beyonce has a cute voice, and cute dance moves, but let's face it, she's never been the mastermind behind the operation. Beyonce 'seems' nice, but she's as dumb as the synthetic weave that sits on her head. She works hard, but it's hardly her work-ethic that got her where she is; If it weren't for her father's money buying her the best songwriters and choreographers in the business she'd be no where.

...And that's obviously apparent to Katy. Some of you are so deluded by pop culture, it is ridiculous, I mean, calling Katy stupid for ruining her chances to work with Beyonce? SERIOUSLY? If she had an ounce of respect for Beyonce she wouldn't have said anything in the first place, she clearly doesn't want to work with her.
But what I find most staggering is: when did Beyonce become the paragon of talent for this generation? This above-average looking girl, with average-everday-girl-"talent" becoming successful is getting out of hand. Give me a fucking superstar with something extraordinary and iconic! It's sad to think that Christina and Britney were the last ones to have that legendary quality...15 fucking years ago. If Christina just put more effort into her looks, she'd be a perfect example of a superstar. Burlesque was the best example of triple threat showcase I've seen in a long time...at least she has an ass now, and is still pretty when thicker. And Britney...well, Britney circa 2004 was great - but that mess she calls a show these days...at least I have the memories of your greatness. :( Even though Gaga doesn't deliver with the music and imagery the majority of the time - she *tries* to fulfill that niche of the superstar this generation desperately needs...

I don't think it was stupid of her to say that, she gave an opinion, which everyone is entitled too. My opinion is that Beautiful Liar was a mess, but that doesn't mean I think other people can't like it.

Ummm....Earth to Katy, Earth-to-Katy. Just a quick FYI, Beyonce is sooo far closer to creating iconic music than you are. I'm actually excited to break it to you, no irony needed, but she'd definitely be the one doing you a favor if there ever was a collaboration. But, oopsies, looks like you dashed your chances for that one, so sorry (ok the last part, that was me being ironic).
