!! OMG, first look: AnnaSophia Robb as Carrie Bradshaw !!

Carrie, is that you? Here's a first look at AnnaSophia Robb as Sex and the City's Manolo-pumping, love-obsessed main character, Carrie Bradshaw, in The Carrie Diaries, a 1980s prequel to the famed HBO series soon coming to the CW. Reportedly, Sarah Jessica Parker even gave Robb her blessing, sending the unknown actress a letter of support wishing her success with the character. I, for one, will be withholding my support until I see how well the young Robb does with the part. There's no mole, so that's something.

This girl is too pretty and does not resemble a pony. Looking like a pony is essential to play the young Carrie Bradshaw.

Horrible idea all around, the show, the casting, just ugh. While I like AnnaSophia, she just does not seem to fit this part at all.
