I asked you last week which galebrity couple was cutest at Elton John's Oscars party -- Adam Lambert and Sauli Koskinen, or Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Justin Mikita -- but I failed to mention that the honor for supreme cutest of the cutest couples went to Neil Patrick Harris and his fiance, David Burtka, as evidenced by this photobooth shot snapped at Vanity Fair's annual after party. Anyone else choking on the adorableness?

BillyBear: Before he met NPH in 2004, David Burtka appeared in the 2001 Off-Broadway premiere of Edward Albee's THE PLAY ABOUT THE BABY, for which he received the Clarence Derwent Award for Most Promising Actor (previous winners included Gene Hackman, James Woods, Morgan Freeman, and B.D. Wong). He made his Broadway debut in the 2003 revival of GYPSY in the role of Tulsa, and to those of us who saw his electric performance of 'All I Need is the Girl', we have no doubt of his incredible talent. Just because he doesn't appear regularly on television or in movies, doesn't mean he isn't know for being more than 'the boyfriend of the famous person'.

neil & david never show much in public, not walking hand in hand, not kissing on the lips, etc ... so they are doing it ONE time and you do as if you know already everything about their private life. you are stupid, really ... *lol* if they wanna kiss, let them do. other celebs are doing it too, and nobody say something about it.

For the record, I knew about him as early as 2002, and he was known for appearances on television and Broadway. His appearance with NPH in 2007 may have made him more well known in the mainstream, but he was a celebrity before that.

For the record, nobody knows David Burtka as a celebrity until September 2007 when N P Harris brought him to attend the Emmy Awards as an openly acknowledged couple for the first time.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia DeRossi are the only actual celebrity gay couple that I can think of. These aren't celebrity couples, they are a couple in which one person in a celebrity and the other is only known for being the boyfriend of the famous person.
