You’re about to hear amazing news: Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes has let it be known he’s working on an idea for a series prequel. “I do have an idea of doing a prequel of the courtship between Robert and Cora — Cora was in love with him before they married but as we know he only fell in love with her about a year after they married. He married her purely for the money. I think that is something he came to feel quite guilty about.” Oooo, juicy!
I would watch a prequel, Downton Abbey is one of the best shows I have ever seen. I can’t wait for the new season, and if the prequel were as well done as the current series, I think it would be a hit.
