!! OMG, an unfortunate end: Kevin Clash resigns after second rape allegation !!

In sad but true news, Elmo puppeteer Kevin Clash has resigned from Sesame Street following the statement of another man stepping forward to claim that Clash had sex with him when he was 15. You don't want to believe it, but what choice do we have? I guess we just have to thankful that nothing like this ever happened to Mr. Rogers.

We have the choice to suspend judgement, remember. The world will still turn whether we form an opinion or not. Indeed, others are better placed and better qualified to judge.

What choice to we have? What an incredibly irresponsible thing to say! Kevin is innocent until proven guilty, and if you had paid any attention to what is going on, the first guy recanted his story after the authorities actually started looking into it. This guy has already said that all that allegedly took place was masturbation, dry humping and making out. Kevin resigned because he didn't want any of this to reflect badly on Sesame Street and the work that they do. I think you should be ashamed of yourself for your wording here.

We have all kinds of choice. It is an allegation, not a fact. Innocent until proven guilty. And though it would be STATUTORY rape IF proven true, I would be careful about bandying that word about.
