Kathleen Hanna's new band The Julie Ruin have released their first song. "Girls Like Us" is a contribution to the soundtrack for author T Cooper's book Real Man Adventures and features a delightfully girlish lead vocal performance from that inimitable tongue kisser and queercore drag performer Vaginal Creme Davis.

@djm Yeah it was a solo thing and then she turned it into a five-piece band a couple years ago with Kathi Wilcox from Bikini Kill, Kenny Mellman from Kiki and Herb, Sara Landeau and Carmine Covelli.
