!! OMG, HEART-FELT: Siba Sahabi's بلاد الرافدين !!
Siba Sahabi's felt vessel collection 'Between Two Rivers', refers to the Ancient Greek word Mesopotamia [Μεσοποταμία], or "the cradle of western civilisation", specifically the city-state Ur located in modern-day Iraq: the birthplace of the pottery turntable.
Sahabi collaborated with Lisa Klappe and Niels van Den to produce the ritualistically beautiful short film ^above^, entitled 'Pallas Athena'; in dedication of the wise but short-tempered Greek Goddess of inspiration, crafts, art and war.
